1945—Building the house
(SAMPLE OF BOOK I)
Back in Mexicali, DJ went with his dream to set up a workshop next to the peach tree—just the way he saw it in his dream. And soon the carpentry business was in full swing. At first, the only tools they had were a saw, a hammer and a chisel; but that was all they needed to continue making suitcases and jewelry boxes. Eventually, they started making furniture. Later, DJ and sons began building the house so the family could live more comfortably.
